Tellescope was a digital-health platform focused on patient communication and patient-management operations. I worked with the team as a Contract UI/UX Designer during Techstars' UnitedHealthcare accelerator.

01 · The challenge

Dense data still has to communicate.

Clinical data can contain substantial information but still fail to communicate clearly. Care teams needed hierarchy, consistency, and signals that made important information easier to understand.

02 · My role

Designing interfaces and a visual language

I designed health-analytics dashboards and patient-onboarding interfaces, then created a reusable visual system that helped engineers present clinical data clearly to care teams.

The work combined conventional interface design with an information-design problem: make dense material scannable without stripping away the context people needed.

Original Tellescope screens were not available in the source archive. This model documents the supported design principles without presenting a recreated product interface as historical work.

What I learned

Information design is part of system design.

A dashboard is not useful because it contains more data. It becomes useful when its structure helps someone distinguish status, context, and the next decision. Reusable visual patterns made that reasoning easier to carry across screens and into implementation.
